Nottingham based duo Nightmoves have quickly established themselves as key playa's over the last year, delivering, fat, electronic house remixes of Klaxons, Punks Jump Up, Freeform Five, Shit Disco and, er, Robbie Williams whilst recording for Kitsune, and there's no let up here as they deliver a slamming, percussive, funk propelled monster, with the original vocal weaved expertly around a chunky bassline and in and out of an epic arrangement to ensure maximum impact in the finest discotheques.
DFA -signed North Londoners Mock and Toof have very much ploughed their own 4 /4 furrow over the last couple of years, and here they add a ravey element to their Moroder-esque rhythms, combining a two note disco - Mentasm bassline with clever use of original 'Photobooth' vocal snippets to create a groovy and hypnotic slow burner.
Finally WARP star and fellow St Albanite / old school mate Chris Clark goes darkcore with hard, jacking rhythms, tweaked out synths and scary snatches of the 'Bring Out Your Dead Vocal' , topped off with an eery, gravity defying breakdown and intense outro. One for the more adventurous dance-floors, or maybe just slipping on the stereo as you curl up with a hot chocolate and a couple of microdots.
